Kelly dedicated her career to education, serving as an Ag Science Teacher at Centerville High School and a Reading Lab Specialist at Groveton ISD. She had also worked as an Elementary Special Education Teacher at Big Sandy ISD. A proud alumna of Sam Houston State University and graduate of Big Sandy High School, Kelly’s passion for teaching was evident in the care and encouragement she gave to every student.

Beyond her professional life, Kelly was known as a devoted wife and, most importantly, a loving mother. Her two sons were the center of her world, and she raised them with fierce love, pride, and guidance, ensuring they grew into respectful and kind young men.

Friends and family describe Kelly as someone who always put others before herself. She was the kind of person who lifted others up, celebrated their children’s accomplishments as if they were her own, and gave wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return.

Her close friend Raegan Cassels Williamson shared:

“Yesterday, the world lost one of the most incredible friends, wife, daughter, and her best title by far, mother. She may have been short in stature, but she could hold me up when I needed it the most. She loved hard, cheered for everyone else’s kids at rodeos and at school, and always checked in. Her greatest pride and joy are her two boys. She lived for them and loved them fiercely.”

Another friend, Stephanie Moore, reflected on Kelly’s selflessness and kindness:

“She loved her boys more than anything in this entire world, but would love on your babies almost as much. Kelly touched so many lives – from the classroom to the rodeo arena to everyday life. Our community will not be the same without her. Rest now, sweet lady.”

Kelly’s legacy will live on in the lives of her family, her students, and the many friends who cherished her. Her unwavering love, generosity, and spirit of encouragement will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving husband, her two sons, her family, and a community that adored her deeply.

Rest in peace, Kelly Dial. Your love and light will continue to shine through those you inspired and cared for.
